    2. By completing an entry coupon and placing it in the competition entry barrel;
    3. By completing an entry form via social media;
    4. By only submitting one entry per person.
  5. For the purposes of the Competition each Entrant, must:
    1. be over the age of 18 years;
    2. be able to prove they are currently renting, living with parents or in another situation that does not include owning a home of their own;
    3. be an Australian permanent resident or citizen;

  6. Entry is not open to:

  17. Any decision the Promoter makes with regards to this promotion is final, binding and no correspondence will be entered into. The winner will be notified by phone and/or email. If the winner does not claim the prize within seven (7) working days from first contact,

WA Housing Centre ‘$10,000 Towards Your New Home’ Promotion

  • The name of this promotion is ‘$10,000 Towards Your New Home’ (“the Promotion”).
  • The promoter of the Promotion is BGC Residential Pty Ltd t/a WA Housing Centre (“Promoter”).
  • Promotion Period
    1. The Promotion commences from 23rd November 2017 and runs until 30th June 2018
  • Eligibility
    1. To be eligible for the Promotion, a person must:
      – Be looking to build with WA Housing Centre; and
      – Successfully enter, or be about to successfully enter, into a building contract with WA Housing Centre, at a date after the commencement date of this Promotion and within the Promotion Period.
    2. Should there be two or more persons that enter into one (1) contract with WA Housing Centre, for the purposes of the Promotion they are to be viewed as one client (and therefore only eligible to one payment of $10,000).
  • Payment
    1. As part of the Promotion, WA Housing Centre will provide eligible persons with a $10,000 lump sum payment. This can occur via:
      – $10,000 being paid to a bank account nominated by the client at site start; OR
      – $10,000 being reduced from the total cost of the building contract; OR
      – $10,000 being paid at such other time to a bank account nominated by the client, provided the client and WA Housing Centre agree to the same.
  • Termination
    1. In the event the client subsequently terminates the building contract with WA Housing Centre, or does not enter into a building contract with WA Housing Centre, or WA Housing Centre cancels the contract due to a breach from the client, the client agrees, regardless of the reason of termination, to refund the full value of the Promotion to WA Housing Centre (only if the $10,000.00 has been paid to a nominated bank account in accordance with clause 6(a) or 6(c) of these Terms & Conditions) within thirty (30) days of termination.
  • Other
    1. Through this promotion, the Promoter makes no representation whatsoever about an Applicant’s eligibility for finance. The Promoter is not a licensed credit provider and cannot provide financial services:
    2. Applicants are encouraged to seek independent financial or legal advice.
    3. The Promotion may be terminated by the Promoter at any time without notice. The Promoter reserves the right to otherwise change the Terms and Condition of the Promotion, without notice.

WA Housing Centre Will Cover the Deposit on Your First Home

The deposit that WA Housing Centre will cover in this statement refers to the initial deposit that is required by the builder to complete all preliminary works needed to proceed to contract stage. WA Housing Centre will cover this initial deposit at sign up. This initial deposit will be required to complete contracts and move to site start. WA Housing Centre can assist clients with Government assisted 2% Keystart finance, low deposit options, no savings home loan options and the First Home Owners Grant.

    22. MySolar Promotion Giveaway Prize Clause: The prize for the Promotion is provided by Consolidated Energy Pty Ltd t/a MySolar (“Consolidated Energy”). The following information surrounding eligibility and details on the prize have been provided by Consolidated Energy Pty Ltd:
      • The MySolar power prize is offered directly by Consolidated Energy Pty Ltd t/a MySolar.
      • Subject to suitable available roof space with solar modules to be installed in a portrait style over a maximum of two orientations at a 50% ratio. Single storey home only
      • Suitable for single phase electrical supply only. Any additional electrical work or upgrading to the meter box / load centre to make the home suitable for installation is not included in the prize.
      • If the full 5.30kW solar array cannot be fitted a smaller solar array will be installed. Installation is subject to manufacturers installation instructions, CEC Guidelines and Australian Standards.
      • Synergy and Western Power approvals are required.
      • Application for these approvals cannot be submitted until the permanent meter paperwork has been lodged to the appropriate authority by the builders electrician and can take up to 20 workings days to be accessed.
      • Consolidated Energy will liaise directly with the homeowner to assist and obtain Synergy and Western Power Approvals before the installation can occur.
      • There are fees for the Renewable Energy Buyback Scheme (REBS) that Synergy will automatically charge to the clients Synergy account. These are not included in prize and are payable by the client direct to Synergy.       • All STC’s and applicable rebates are assigned by the homeowner back to Consolidated Energy trading as MySolar.

  • Any decision the Promoter makes with regards to this promotion is final, binding and no correspondence will be entered into. The winner will be notified by phone and/or email. First Home Owners Grant

To qualify for the West Australian First Home Owner’s Grant, you must meet the following requirements:

  • You are an Australian citizen or permanent resident
  • You have never owned a residential property anywhere in Australia
  • You have not previously received a First Home Buyers Grant from any state or territory in Australia
  • You must be 18 years of age or older
  • It is required that the recipient of the FHOG occupies the home as their principal place of residence for a continuous period of at least 6 months, which must take place within 12 months of receiving the FHOG.
  • Construction of the new home must commence within 26 weeks after the date of the contract.
  • The home must be completed within 18 months of the construction commencing.

Non-Genuine Savings Home Loans – Terms and Conditions

Historical rental repayments made by an applicant/s will allow non genuine savings to be utilised as deposit where all of the below requirements are met:

  • Applicant/s are currently renting
  • One of the tenants is the borrower for the proposed loan
  • A minimum of 6 months satisfactory continuous rental history, and
  • The property leased has a rental agreement in place. This is agreement can be private or it can be managed by a Licensed agent
  • Verification of rent as genuine savings is mandatory and is to comprise of the following:
    1. A letter from the Licensed Property Manager / Agent detailing the following:
      1. Full name of tenant/s as per tenancy agreement
      2. Address of the tenanted property
      3. The amount of rent paid per cycle (e.g.: weekly, fortnightly. Monthly)
      4. Confirmation of acceptable 6-month rental payment history
      5. Commencement date of tenancy (minimum 6 months term to apply)
    2. The past 6 consecutive months rental statements, from the real estate agent managing the property
    3. The past 6 consecutive months transaction account statements, of an account in the name of at least one of the borrowers

  1. The name of this promotion is “10 Lucky People Who Will Receive $10,000 Towards Their Home Promotion” (“The Promotion”).
  2. The promoter of the Promotion is BGC Residential Pty Ltd t/a WA Housing Centre (“Promoter”).
  3. As part of this Promotion, the Promoter will select at its discretion ten individuals from its database to receive $10,000 towards their new WA Housing Centre home.
  4. The Promotion runs from 8 June 2018 until 16 August 2018.
  5. The selected individuals must successfully enter into a building contract with WA Housing Centre prior to 16 August 2018 in order to be eligible.
  6. Should the selected individuals not elect to take up the offer, it will be up the discretion of the Promoter as to whether to select a new winner.
  7. As part of the offer, WA Housing Centre will provide the selected individual with a $10,000 lump sum payment. This can occur via:
    1. $10,000 being paid to a bank account nominated by the client at site start; OR
    2. $10,000 being reduced from the total cost of the building contract; OR
    3. $10,000 being paid at such other time to a bank account nominated by the client, provided the client and WA Housing Centre agree to the same.

  9. In the event the client subsequently terminates the building contract with WA Housing Centre or does not enter into a building contract with WA Housing Centre, or WA Housing Centre cancels the contract due to a breach from the client, the client agrees, regardless of the reason of termination, to refund the full value of the Promotion to WA Housing Centre (only if the $10,000.00 has been paid to a nominated bank account) within thirty (30) days of termination.
