WA Housing Centre Will Cover the Deposit on Your First Home

The deposit that WA Housing Centre will cover in this statement refers to the initial deposit that is required by the builder to complete all preliminary works needed to proceed to contract stage. WA Housing Centre will cover this initial deposit at sign up. This initial deposit will be required to complete contracts and move to site start. WA Housing Centre can assist clients with Government assisted 2% Keystart finance, low deposit options, no savings home loan options and the First Home Owners Grant.

WA Housing Centre ‘Win $15,000 Cash’ Competition

Promotion Promoter – WA Housing Centre

WA Housing Centre ‘Win $15,000 Cash’ promotion will enter all registrations received on its website promotions page and completed written entry coupons received by barrel entry, between 9.00am (WST) 1st February 2017 and 5.00pm (WST) 30th June 2017. One winner will be drawn at 11am (WST) on Monday 3rd July 2017 at WA Housing Centre Head Office, Ground Floor, 22 Mount Street Perth WA 6000.

Should the drawn winner meet all criteria of the following Terms and Conditions, they will win the prize of $15,000 cash.

The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Terms And Conditions Of Competition

  1. The name of this competition is the “Win $15,000 Cash” promotion (“Competition”). The draw will be held at the WA Housing Centre Head Office, 22 Mount Street Perth WA 6000.
  2. The promoter of the Competition is WA Housing Centre (“Promoter”)
  3. The Competition commences at 9.00am (WST) 1st February 2017 (starting date) and ends at 5.00pm (WST) 30th June 2017 (closing date)
  4. For the purposes of the Competition, an “Entry” is effected by ONLY the following:
    1. By completing the “Win $15,000 Cash” registration on the WA Housing Centre website at www.wahousingcentre.com.au
    2. By completing an entry coupon and placing it in the competition entry barrel.
    3. By only submitting one entry per person.
  5. For the purposes of the Competition each Entrant, must:
    1. be over the age of 18 years;
    2. be able to prove they are currently renting, living with parents or in another situation that does not include owning a home of their own;
    3. be an Australian permanent resident or citizen;
    4. not be otherwise excluded from the Competition by reason of the terms of paragraph 6 of these Terms and Conditions.
  6. Entry is not open to:
    1. persons who qualify as employees of WA Housing Centre, and their immediate families;
    2. any Person who may have worked on any aspects of this Promotion on behalf of WA Housing Centre or any third party.
  7. The promoter accepts no responsibility for late entries or incomplete entry forms.
  8. If there is any doubt or dispute as to whether or not a person is an Entrant pursuant to clause 5, or is excluded by clause 6, the decision of the Promoter will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  9. The winning entry will be scrutinised by the Promoter after the selection of the winner, and the Promoter reserves the right to exclude from the Competition any entry the Promoter considers does not meet the requirements of these Terms and Conditions. The decision of the Promoter is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  10. Should the draw winner not meet the competition criteria outlined in these terms and conditions then the draw will be repeated until a winner that meets all criteria outlined in these terms and conditions is drawn.
  11. The prize winner must provide suitable identification to the Promoter’s satisfaction to be entitled to claim any prize.
  12. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant whom they feel may have manipulated the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with the Conditions of Entry.
  13. Entrants Information
    1. By entering the Promotion you give WA Housing Centre consent to use your personal information for further purposes and promotions unless you say otherwise.
    2. All entries become the property of WA Housing Centre.
    3. All entries will be entered into a database and the entrants’ names and addresses may be used for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes by WA Housing Centre.
    4. WA Housing Centre may, unless you advise otherwise, use your Personal Information for future promotional and marketing activities. To be removed from its marketing database, please contact WA Housing Centre via email at info@wahousingcentre.com.au or by telephoning 6555 7585.
  14. If an entrant chooses to accept a prize, the Promoter reserves the right to use the customer’s name and photograph for marketing and publicity purposes.
  15. Liability
    1. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is caused or attributed (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss), or for any personal injury suffered or sustained, as a result of taking or using any prize awarded, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
    2. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the Promotion at any time and without notice. Should the Promoter cancel the Promotion the Promoter will:
      1. advertise that the Promotion has been cancelled by placing a notice on the WA Housing Centre website www.wahousingcentre.com.au;
      2. promptly destroy all entries received; and
      3. the personal information you have provided on the entry form will not be used in any manner whatsoever.
  16. Date and Place of Draw
    The final draw will take place at 11am (WST) on Monday 3rd July 2017 at the WA Housing Centre Head Office, 22 Mount Street Perth WA 6000.
  17. Any decision the Promoter makes with regards to this promotion is final, binding and no correspondence will be entered into. The winner will be notified by phone and/or email. If the winner does not claim the prize within seven (7) working days from first contact, the Promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize and announce another winner.

 

First Home Owners Grant

To qualify for the West Australian First Home Owner’s Grant, you must meet the following requirements:

  • You are an Australian citizen or permanent resident
  • You have never owned a residential property anywhere in Australia
  • You have not previously received a First Home Buyers Grant from any state or territory in Australia
  • You must be 18 years of age or older
  • It is required that the recipient of the FHOG occupies the home as their principal place of residence for a continuous period of at least 6 months, which must take place within 12 months of receiving the FHOG.
  • Construction of the new home must commence within 26 weeks after the date of the contract.
  • The home must be completed within 18 months of the construction commencing.

Repayments of principal & interest are based on a loan amount of $202,600 with a 10% deposit and interest rate of 4.19% (5.57% comparison rate). All comparison rates are calculated on the basis of secured credit of $150,000 over a 25 year term. Non-Genuine Savings Home Loans – Terms and Conditions

Historical rental repayments made by an applicant/s will allow non genuine savings to be utilised as deposit where all of the below requirements are met:

  • Applicant/s are currently renting
  • One of the tenants is the borrower for the proposed loan
  • A minimum of 6 months satisfactory continuous rental history, and
  • The property leased has a rental agreement in place. This is agreement can be private or it can be managed by a Licensed agent
  • Verification of rent as genuine savings is mandatory and is to comprise of the following:
    • A letter from the Licensed Property Manager / Agent detailing the following:
        • Full name of tenant/s as per tenancy agreement
        • Address of the tenanted property
        • The amount of rent paid per cycle (e.g.: weekly, fortnightly. Monthly)
        • Confirmation of acceptable 6-month rental payment history
        • Commencement date of tenancy (minimum 6 months term to apply)
    • The past 6 consecutive months rental statements, from the real estate agent managing the property
    • The past 6 consecutive months transaction account statements, of an account in the name of at least one of the borrowers
