WA Housing Centre ‘5 Lucky Renters Will Win $5,000’ Competition

WA Housing Centre’s “5 Lucky Renters Will Win $5,000” promotion will enter all registrations received on its website promotions page or social media pages between Tuesday 07th May 2019 (“Start Date”) until further notice (“End Date”) (collectively, “the Promotion Period”) into our database and 5 winners will be selected at WA Housing Centre’s discretion based on their answer to the ‘skill question’ at the end of each month at the BGC Residential Pty Ltd head office, 22 Mount Street,Perth, WA 6000.

Each month during the Promotion Period is to be viewed as a separate competition, with the five (5) selected winners chosen based on entries from that month alone.

The monthly five (5) selected winners will each win a prize of $5,000 (five thousand dollars) AUD, as long as they meet all criteria of these terms and conditions. Only entrants who will later build with WA Housing Centre are eligible to claim the prize, which will be provided at site start or as otherwise agreed.

This is a competition of skill and there is no cost to enter.

The “promoters” decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  1. The name of this competition is ‘5 Lucky Renters Will Win $5,000’promotion (“Competition”).
  2. The winner will be selected based on the best answer provided to the ‘Skill Question’ as decided by the management team at the BGC Residential Pty Ltdhead office, 22 Mount Street, Perth, WA 6000, in its sole discretion.
  3. The promoter of the Competition is BGC Residential Pty Ltd t/a WA Housing Centre (“Promoter”)
  4. The Competition commences at Tuesday 07th May 2019 (“Commencing Date”) and closes at a date to be advised, with no less than one month notice (“Closing Date”), with five (5) winners selected at the end of each month. Each of the monthly five (5) selected winners will win $5,000, with the terms of accepting the prize as follows:
    (a) The winner must build with WA Housing Centre within 12 months in order to claim the prize;
    (b) The $5,000 will be paid to a bank account nominated by the client at site start. Alternatively, if both the winner and WA Housing Centre agree, the $5,000 can be paid to a bank account at any other time OR the $5,000 can be used as a reduction to the building contract value.
  5. For the purposes of the Competition, an “Entry” is effected by ONLY the following:
    (a) by completing the registration form on the WA Housing Centrewebsite at www.wahousingcentre.com.au/offer/5luckyrenters; or at facebook.com/wahousingcentre AND
    (b) by only submitting 1 entry per person per month.
  6. For the purposes of the Competition each Entrant, must:
    ​(a) be over the age of eighteen years;
    ​(b) not have previously owned a home and be looking to build with WA Housing Centre;
    ​(c) be an Australian permanent resident or citizen;
    (d) currently renting, boarding or living at a family member’s home.
    ​(e) currently live in Western Australia; AND
    (f) not be otherwise excluded from the Competition by reason of the terms of paragraph 7 of these Terms and Conditions.
  7. Entry is not open to:
    ​(a) Persons who qualify as employees of BGC Residential Pty Ltd, and their immediate families;
    ​(b) Any Person who may have worked on any aspects of this promotion on behalf of BGC Residential Pty Ltd or any third party and their immediate families.
  8. The promoter accepts no responsibility for late entries or incomplete entry forms.
  9. If there is any doubt or dispute as to whether or not a person is an Entrant pursuant to clause 6, or is excluded by clause 7, the decision of the Promoter will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. If the selected winner does not respond within three (3) days of contact a new winner will be selected.
  10. The selected winning entries will be scrutinised by the Promoter after the selection of the winners, and the Promoter reserves the right to exclude from the Competition any entry the Promoter considers does not meet the requirements of these Terms and Conditions. The decision of the Promoter is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  11. Should any of the selected winners not meet the Competition criteria outlined in these terms and conditions then another entry will be selected until a winner that meets all criteria outlined in these terms and conditions is selected.
  12. The prize winners must provide suitable identification to the Promoters’
    satisfaction to be entitled to claim any prize.
  13. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant whom they feel may have manipulated the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with the Conditions of Entry.
  14. Entrants Information
    ​(a) By entering the promotion you give BGC Residential Pty Ltd consent to use your personal information for further purposes and promotions unless you say otherwise.
    ​(b) All entries become the property of BGC Residential Pty Ltd.
    ​(c) All entries will be entered into a database and the entrants’ names and addresses may be used for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes by BGC Residential Pty Ltd. BGC Residential Pty Ltd collects your personal information (PI) to contact you in relation to requests for further information.
    ​(d) BGC Residential Pty Ltd may, unless you advise otherwise, use the PI for future promotional and marketing activities.     (a) The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is caused or attributed (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss), or for any personal injury suffered or sustained, as a result of taking or using any prize awarded, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
    ​(b) The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the Competition at any time and without notice.
    (c) Entrants are encouraged to seek independent financial advice regarding any implications of accepting the prize.
  17. Should the Promoter cancel the Competition the Promoter will:
    ​(a) advertise that the Competition has been cancelled by placing a notice on the WA Housing Centre website www.wahousingcentre.com.au;
    ​(b) promptly destroy all entries received; and
    ​(c) the personal information you have provided on the entry form will not be used in any manner whatsoever.
  18. Date and Place of Selection
    The winners will be selected by the end of each month at the BGC Residential head office, 22 Mount Street, Perth, WA 6000. Should a winner not build with WA Housing Centre and forfeit the prize, it will be at WA Housing Centre’s discretion as to re-draw a new winner.
  19. Any decision the Promoter makes with regards to this Competition is final, binding and no correspondence will be entered in to.
  20. The Promoter reserves the right to alter or amend the conditions associated with this Competition if considered necessary, without notice.
  21. Entry into this Promotion is acceptance of these terms and conditions.

WA Housing Centre ‘3 Lucky First Home Buyers Will Win $15,000’ Competition

WA Housing Centre’s “3 Lucky First Home Buyers Will Win $15,000” promotion consists of two competitions – a lottery competition where 1 winner is drawn per month, and a skill competition where 2 winners are selected per month (collectively, the three winners). Each winner will receive $15,000 towards their first home with WA Housing Centre, provided they satisfy these Terms & Conditions.

WA Housing Centre will enter all registrations received on its website (www.wahousingcentre.com.au/offers/AVOCASHSMASH) and via hardcopy entry coupons between 27 February 2019 (“Start Date”) to 29 August 2019 (“End Date”) (collectively, “the Promotion Period”) into our database and 3 winners will be selected / drawn at WA Housing Centre’s discretion based on their answer to the ‘skill question’ for the skill competition and via a random draw for the lottery competition at the end of each monthly at the BGC Residential Pty Ltd head office, 22 Mount Street, Perth, WA 6000. The dates of the draw / selections are as follows:

28 March 2019;
29 April 2019;
29 May 2019;
27 June 2019;
29 July 2019;
29 August 2019.

Entries received during each month during the Promotion Period will be rolled over to the next month, unless the entry has been deemed ineligible or drawn / selected as a winner.

The monthly three (3) winners will each win a prize of $15,000 (fifteen thousand dollars) AUD, as long as they meet all criteria of these terms and conditions. Only entrants who will later build with WA Housing Centre are eligible to claim the prize, which will either be provided at site start OR as a reduction from the total cost of the building contract OR as otherwise agreed to between the winner and WA Housing Centre.

There is no cost to enter the competitions.

    1. The name of this competition is ‘3 Lucky First Home Buyers Will Win $15,000’ promotion (“Competition”).
    2. There are two aspects to the Competition:
      2.1 Skill competition – 2 monthly winners will be selected based on the best answer provided to the ‘Skill Question’ as decided by the management team at the BGC Residential Pty Ltd head office, 22 Mount Street, Perth, WA 6000, in its sole discretion.
      2.2 Lottery competition – 1 monthly winner will be drawn at the BGC Residential Pty Ltd head office, 22 Mount Street, Perth, WA 6000. This draw is open to the public. Collectively, there are three monthly winners.
    3. The promoter of the Competition is BGC Residential Pty Ltd t/a WA Housing Centre (“Promoter”)

      (b) The $15,000 will be paid to a bank account nominated by the client at site start or as a reduction from the total cost of the building contract or as otherwise agreed to between the winner and WA Housing Centre.
    5. For the purposes of the Competition, an “Entry” is effected by ONLY the
      following:

However, should an eligible entry later not successfully enter into a building contract with WA Housing Centre within the required time period, it is as the Promoter’s discretion to re-draw/select a new winner.

WA Housing Centre ‘$10,000 Towards Your New Home’ Promotion

  • The name of this promotion is ‘$10,000 Towards Your New Home’ or ‘Solutions’ (“The Promotion”). The Promotion excludes our Unbeatable designs.
  • The promoter of the Promotion is BGC Residential Pty Ltd t/a WA Housing Centre (“Promoter”).
  • Promotion Period
    1. The Promotion commences from 7th January 2019 and runs until 30th June 2019.
  • Eligibility
    1. To be eligible for the Promotion, a person must:
      – Be looking to build with WA Housing Centre; and
      – Successfully enter, or be about to successfully enter, into a building contract with WA Housing Centre (not including the Unbeatable designs, which is excluded from the Promotion), at a date after the commencement date of this Promotion and within the Promotion Period.
    2. Should there be two or more persons that enter into one (1) contract with WA Housing Centre, for the purposes of the Promotion they are to be viewed as one client (and therefore only eligible to one payment of $10,000).
  • Payment
    1. As part of the Promotion, WA Housing Centre will provide eligible persons (whom it alone will select at its absolute discretion) with up to $10,000 lump sum payment. This can occur via:
      – Up to $10,000 being paid to a bank account nominated by the client at site start; OR
      – Up to $10,000 being reduced from the total cost of the building contract; OR
      – Up to $10,000 being paid at such other time to a bank account nominated by the client, provided the client and WA Housing Centre agree to the same.
  • Termination
    1.  In the event the client subsequently terminates the building contract with WA Housing Centre, or does not enter into a building contract with WA Housing Centre, or WA Housing Centre cancels the contract due to a breach from the client, the client agrees, regardless of the reason of termination, to refund the full value of the Promotion to WA Housing Centre (only if the $10,000.00 has been paid to a nominated bank account in accordance with clause 6(a) or 6(c) of these Terms & Conditions) within thirty (30) days of termination.
  • Other
    1. Through this promotion, the Promoter makes no representation whatsoever about an Applicant’s eligibility for finance. The Promoter is not a licensed credit provider and cannot provide financial services:

WA Housing Centre Will Cover the Deposit on Your First Home

The deposit that WA Housing Centre will cover in this statement refers to the initial deposit that is required by the builder to complete all preliminary works needed to proceed to contract stage. WA Housing Centre will cover this initial deposit at sign up. This initial deposit will be required to complete contracts and move to site start. WA Housing Centre can assist clients with Government assisted 2% Keystart finance, low deposit options, no savings home loan options and the First Home Owners Grant.

First Home Owners Grant

To qualify for the West Australian First Home Owner’s Grant, you must meet the following requirements:

  • You are an Australian citizen or permanent resident
  • You have never owned a residential property anywhere in Australia
  • You have not previously received a First Home Buyers Grant from any state or territory in Australia
  • You must be 18 years of age or older
  • It is required that the recipient of the FHOG occupies the home as their principal place of residence for a continuous period of at least 6 months, which must take place within 12 months of receiving the FHOG.
  • Construction of the new home must commence within 26 weeks after the date of the contract.
  • The home must be completed within 18 months of the construction commencing.

Non-Genuine Savings Home Loans – Terms and Conditions

Historical rental repayments made by an applicant/s will allow non genuine savings to be utilised as deposit where all of the below requirements are met:

  • Applicant/s are currently renting
  • One of the tenants is the borrower for the proposed loan
  • A minimum of 6 months satisfactory continuous rental history, and
  • The property leased has a rental agreement in place. This is agreement can be private or it can be managed by a Licensed agent
  • Verification of rent as genuine savings is mandatory and is to comprise of the following:
    1. A letter from the Licensed Property Manager / Agent detailing the following:
      1. Full name of tenant/s as per tenancy agreement
      2. Address of the tenanted property
      3. The amount of rent paid per cycle (e.g.: weekly, fortnightly. Monthly)
      4. Confirmation of acceptable 6-month rental payment history
      5. Commencement date of tenancy (minimum 6 months term to apply)
    2. The past 6 consecutive months rental statements, from the real estate agent managing the property
    3. The past 6 consecutive months transaction account statements, of an account in the name of at least one of the borrowers

Ready Builds Terms & Conditions

For the limited packages that are included in the promotion called ‘The Ready Builds Promotion’, the below House and Land Packages disclaimer applies. This promotion is only applicable to a limited number of exclusive packages.

All reasonable care is taken to ensure that the advertising material is only active when a package or packages are available under this promotion. However, WA Housing Centre makes no representation about the current availability of eligible packages.

The 6-month waiting period referred to in this promotion relates to the time period from the conclusion of the formal sign up process to key handover.

No structural changes under this promotion to the house design are permitted. Eligible clients must be in a position to settle within twenty one (21) days.
